Mike's Recommendation
This lightweight chain saw uses an 18 volt battery, so you can trim and prune without messy gas or tangled extension cords.
It's not going to turn you into Paul Bunyan, but for small jobs around the house it's handy and economical.
If you have larger branches to trim, you'll want to check out the "Better" and "Best" 10-inch saws.

Little, but perfect for what I needed it for.
Perfect for little job that I come across in my day to day projects I find myself doing. Only problem is that it only has one battery. It lasts about 3 hours using it sparingly.
Break out with the big boy when it's needed for major work. Just ordered a second battery.
I have already recommended this to all my neighbors.

Practically I'm not ready yet to give my opinion about this product.
I used this saw so far only 2 times and based on my experience I had only positive feeling.

Fine for yard work
Doesn't have a ton of power, but my wife likes it for trimming small branches off the many trees in our yard....does just fine for what we wanted.

Really Like it!!
Really like this tool. I have a regular chainsaw but use Earthwise more often due to ease of start.
Works great. My battery works just over an hour of heavy work and thick trees or branches. A second back-up battery would just add to the package.

Works for me
The chain saw works real good to cut trees 2 inches to 4 inches thick.
Battery work load is two hours per fill/charge I like it- it works for me.
IT WOULD BE BETTER WITH TWO BATTERIES.
