I have had one for 10 years now, I use it when large branches break off or a tree dies.
I have been using it a lot these last few weeks. From the ice/snow storms I lost 4 trees and a bunch of branches. The trees were 14 to 16 inches in diameter and 30 feet tall oak and hickory. I have them all cut into fire wood.
The saw never gave me a problem, at all, except when it ran out of gas. But I filled it up and it still starts on the first or second pull. It still has the original spark plug.
"Oregon" chains last the longest, if you keep the oiler filled. I use old motor oil out of the cars for chain lube. I am still using the original bar.
If I ever need another, and as long as they have this Poulan, I would probably buy it here because of the price.
You can't beat a Poulan.
