It isn't a Stihl but then I don't need one!
I have been using this saw for several weeks now and haven't had one problem with it.
I don't use it on a professional basis and it is very suitable for the common homeowner.
It is "Assembled" in the U.S.A. God only knows where all the parts come from but for the money, and keeping American's "assembling" them, it has been a great value and I would highly recommend it.

Have had very good performance!
I'm not sure what Assembled in USA of American and Foreign parts means, but the chain is the only non-USA made part I saw, which is made in Canada.
Very surprised at the quality in this product. I suspect most of it is made and assembled in America.
