After a tough winter there can be a lot of damage to clean up. This saw is great for the average homeowner with a reasonable To Do List.
Since it's electric, it will be quiet and easy to start. It has enough power and a big enough bar to trim limbs and shrubs; or the occasional small tree.
If you have tougher tasks lined up you may want to take a look at the Better and Best rankings. |

| A Handy Electric Chainsaw |

I had wanted to buy the saw listed as best, however it was not in stock. I needed a chainsaw to cut up some small downed trees on my property.
I had a Remington before and it did the small jobs very well. This saw is working great so far and I haven't had any problems with it. Just keep it well oiled and leave the large trees to the gas saw. |

Saw is very loud and doesn't cut. It seems to tear the pine limbs I cut.
However, it throws very little sawdust and I used a 123 extension at about 100 feet.
I will get the chain sharpened, to see if that helps. I highly recommend chain oil. |
