The Greenworks model 2000002 Pro 80V is one of our most powerful battery-powered saws. It produces power equivalent to that of a 42cc gas-powered engine. The variable speed trigger allows for longer battery life and better control of your cuts.

The sturdy wrap around is made of metal as are the bucking spikes that will come in handy during the really big jobs.

Having an automatic oiler removes one part of the job at hand and keeps the chain running fast and easy. Safety takes a front... more

80v 18Ē Cordless Digipro Chainsaw Ė Gas Killer
Think green! Fossil fuels are deemed evil and soon will be eradicated from this planet. Well maybe in about 70 years, but Greenworks is one step closer to making a no gas a reality for millions of property owners. We were highly impressed with the Greenworks 40V chainsaw that we saw at GIE a few years back. The 80V has twice the power and longer run time.

When we first got the 80v Chainsaw we took it out to a huge cottonwood tree that we had dropped last year and never chopped up. ... more

It's A Real Chainsaw, Not A Toy
Compared to the other battery operated saws on the market, this feels and acts like comparable saws in use. I did change out the bar to a Sandvik bar I had with a Stihl chain because it's more heavy duty.

We live in the forest of the Ozarks, so this is an essential tool. Love it. We've been telling everyone about it no more pulling to start, so much safer and easier to use.

Plenty Of Power Battery Life A Little Short
Saw has good power but battery life a little short got 20 minutes of run time felling bucking and limbing large oak usually get 30 minutes with gas saw on a tank of gas

Perfect Helper
This chain saw is the easiest tool I have ever used! and it makes short work cleaning out under brush and medium size trees. I will never use a gas chain saw again.. I wore out before it did!

Very Handy
It is great not to have to pull start a noisy chainsaw. It is great for small stuff like cutting brush the blade cuts really fast. It switches off by its self often to soon. It does not last long when cutting big stuff. That is when the gas powered saw is better. I am very pleased with it for working with small branches when you stop start a lot.

Very Good Middle-of-the-road E-saw
18" bar is over-kill for a low-powered saw. I installed a 16" bar and fitted two Carleton chains. In heavy, semi-abusive bucking the full length of the bar, the motor has to work harder and it drains the batt. in 15 min. or about 3 cuts thru 20+ inch pine.

Yesterday helping build a log cabin and woodshed I ran the GW 80 volt to trim boards and do light limbing and bucking small dia. stuff about the dia. of a husky man's upper arm and the battery was not quite "flat" when... more

80 Volt _e-chainsaw Not A Home-owner "toy"...
I got my E-saw because an old rancher/logger/moonshiner in his 80's (even older than myself!) got one and is delighted with it, other-wise I would have never considered an E-saw.

1st thing I did was swap the 18" bar for a 16" one since shorter bars/less chain means you can pull more aggressive chain.

The spikes on the "dog" are dull and need to be sharpened.

I like the saw so much I am going to buy a 4Ah battery for it! Chain-speed is slower than my gas saws, but it... more

80 Volt Saw
Saw works well, especially at altitude where gas saws are even more picky about running. Good saw in the trees as well, no more yanking on the cord 100 foot up, a bit heavy though. Pleasurably quiet compared to a gas saw.

On the other hand the chain adjuster is over engineered junk. Wouldn't work out of the box. Greenworks folks were less than helpful and somewhat insulting when called. I am not new to the chainsaw world! Pried the offending masterpiece from the saw and threw in the junk... more

Awesome!
Gave to my husband as a Christmas gift. He was awe struck when he unwrapped it. Best gift he said he got! Has used it already to cut trees for firewood. He is in heaven with it.
