Q: I've got a generator that has not been run for a couple years. Will this product be able to ungum the entire system or what do you suggest as I forgot to be Stabil in and now it's clogged up. Thanks by Bill Rivers Sr. from Florida on April 20, 2011
A: If the generator has been sitting for a couple years. The build up of gum in the carburetor could be significant if there was gas in the unit for all that time. If this is the case, you could try this, but don't know for sure if this would alleviate your problem.
After one season, this does a great job, but for sitting such a long time, I doubt it will completely ungum your entire system. I would say give it a try, you wouldn't be hurting anything by doing so.
