A: Mark - yes, the Troy-Bilt CSV206 chipper/shredder/vac is self propelled. It has one forward speed and no power reverse.

A: Thanks for your inquiry. This item is not equipped with a vacuum attachment. The Troy-Bilt Model 24A-06MM066 is equipped with a vacuum attachment. You may want to look at that model.

This is the Big Daddy of lawn vacuums- it can clear 1/3 of an acre in 2 hours or less!

It has a separate feed chute that can chew through sticks up to 2 1/2 inches in diameter. And there is plenty of power to the wheels- saving your back and arms a lot of strain and fatigue.

The front wheels swivel independently, so navigating around trees and landscaping is fast & easy.

The 3 bushel bag is larger than most, so you have to stop less often to empty it. You just motor over to where you want your fresh mulch, unhook the bag, and dump it where you will- no hard tanks to lift or struggle with.

If you have a large property, or several properties, to clear- we think you'll find the time saved by this brawny unit is well worth the expense.

 Troy-Bilt Chipper Mulcher Vac

It works great when you can get it to start. The HARDEST pull I have ever experienced. Takes at least a dozen pulls for it to turn over...if you're lucky. An electric starter on this would make it a REAL machine!!!!

CSD RESPONDS: If you are still having problems starting your chipper/vac, please contact the folks at Troy-bilt, toll free, at (800) 828-5500. They will be able to advise you on starting tips, and recommend warranty service if necessary.
