Product QuestionsAnswered by Dale, the Chain Saw Expert
I have a model 61 Husqvarna, the bar is 18", 3/8 .050.
What bar do you recommend for this saw. I don't see any Model 61's in your list

Answer
We do offer a replacement bar for your saw and it would be Oregon. We would not handle the Husqvarna replacement bar though and to be honest, my guess would be the replacement bar for your saw would likely be an Oregon bar anyway with a Husqvarna logo on it.
These bars can be found by using our Oregon bar and chain finder or by giving us a call (800-710-7499). You actually have two options of bars, the Oregon 180RNDD009 and 180SLHD009. The RNDD bar would be the more professional option. I have also dropped the link to the bar and chain finder if you want to pull these up. It is very easy to use, just plug your saw's information into the boxes and it will pull up what you are looking for.
I checked online for the Owner's Manual for that unit, since it's not a model we currently sell.
It says it can use an 18" bar and a 0.325 inch pitch along with .050, .058, or .063 gauge chain. The bar and chain have to work together as a team.
We sell a Husqvarna 18" replacement bar with .325 pitch; it's part number HLN250-72 meant for PIXEL chain systems on current models.
If you're not sure if your chain will work with this bar, please give the Husqvarna folks a call, toll free, at 800-487-5951. They will be happy to advise you on the most effective bar and chain combination for your particular saw.
