Is a 72 link chain a 25 inch I have a McCullough 25" chain saw it says 25 on some of the links and 72 on other parts of the chain. Will Oregon chains fit my McCullough, I don't know the model #

Answer
In most instances a 72 link chain would not be for a 25" bar. 72 links is most common on 20" bars. All this being said, links on chains can vary from saw to saw and the type of chain you are using. So it is directly possible.

Oregon is going to make chain for just about every saw ever made. There are some saws they may not have something for, but it is very few and in most instances discontinued at one time or another based on low volume of sales.

Please give us your model number of your saw and we can look this up or if you would like you can use the Oregon bar and chain finder we have on our website to do it yourself.
